Ole’s Big Game Steakhouse & Lounge – "Nebraska’s most Famous Watering Hole" – with hundreds of game mounts bagged by Ole Herstedt on display in Paxton, NE is 12 miles to the west. North Platte is home to the famous Buffalo Bill’s Scout Rest Ranch (home of Buffalo Bill Cody). Other popular attractions include North Platte Canteen Display, Lincoln County Historical Museum and the Cody Park Railroad Museum. The Union Pacific Bailey Railroad Yard is the world’s largest reclassification yard where 3,000 rail cars are sorted everyday. North Platte is located 20 miles to the east.
